Review the DBMS for unused components of the system that cannot be uninstalled. If unused components or features are present on the system and are not disabled, this is a finding. SQLPlus can be used to check to see what is installed in the database: sqlplus connect as sysdba select from v$option; This will return all of the database options and their status. TRUE means that the option is installed. If the option is not installed, the option will be set to FALSE. Review the options and check to see what is required.
